We're currently building a new #Engineering team here at the International Baccalaureate and have just opened six new roles, including Senior Engineer and engineering roles.

We are looking for full-stack engineers who enjoy spending most of their time on the front-end working with technologies such as Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Node.js.

Experience integrating headless CMS platforms, such as Sanity CMS, coupled with Azure DevOps experience for CI/CD is a bonus.

These roles will work on two greenfield products that will support our schools and educators around the world.

• Leading a team of engineers while remaining actively involved in software development and technical delivery.

• Proven experience leading engineers while remaining hands-on in software development.
• Strong experience with PHP and Laravel (mandatory).
• Experience developing and maintaining cloud-based products and distributed systems.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or Angular.
• Strong knowledge of Node.js is considered a significant plus.
• Exposure to additional backend technologies such as .NET, C#, Java, or Spring is appreciated.
• Experience working closely with DevOps teams and CI/CD practices.
• Strong code review mindset and commitment to engineering best practices.
• Ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.

• 4+ years of professional experience in Node.js development.


• Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript, NestJS, and PostgreSQL.


• Practical experience with GitHub, including branching, merging, and pull requests.


• Experience with CI/CD tools and containerization technologies, including Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.


• Experience working in large-scale data center, cloud, or network environments, with a solid understanding of distributed systems and modern infrastructure.


• English B2+ and Bulgarian B2+.
