JoomPulse is one of the key businesses of Joom Group, an international tech-centric group of e-commerce companies that was founded in 2016 in Latvia. Joom Group also includes the following businesses: Joom, a global cross-border marketplace; JoomPro, the first and only end-to-end cross-border B2B marketplace; and Onfy, a pharmaceutical marketplace in Germany. • The market analysis that turns our marketplace data into insight for large corporate data clients and for the press

This person makes sure we can trust our own data, makes sure every significant feature and data release is measured against its real effect on conversion and retention, and packages our marketplace data into external-facing market analysis (category trends, pricing, market dynamics) that lands with corporate clients and journalists.

    Responsibilities

    • Attention to detail and ability to see tasks through to completion

    Preferred

    • Built a data-quality or data-observability system from scratch and owned it
    • Owned product analytics on a data / analytics product specifically
    • Python (pandas / numpy) for analysis and automation and PySpark / big-data processing for the more technical work

    • Experience in marketplace analytics and deep understanding of marketplaces base metrics and ranking algorithms

    We offer

    • Compensation package: base salary and performance-based bonuses
    • Office-first: flexible hours with a possibility to work remotely 52 days per year, and 22 days of paid annual leave

    About the team

Our team is dedicated to advancing the future of autonomous driving technology by developing the metrics and evaluation frameworks that ensure the safety, performance, and readiness of self-driving systems. We work closely with engineering teams to analyze real-world and simulated driving data, enabling data-driven decisions that accelerate the commercialization of autonomous vehicles. Our work directly impacts critical questions such as: ‘How well does the vehicle handle complex intersections? Does it provide a passenger-safe experience during maneuvers? How do we statistically validate readiness for urban deployment?’

    About the role

We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join our team and play a pivotal role in defining and evaluating the performance of autonomous vehicle systems. You will design and implement quantitative metrics to assess driving behavior, safety compliance, and passenger comfort. Your work will involve analyzing large datasets, applying statistical methods, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure our self-driving systems meet the highest standards of safety and reliability. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the future of autonomous driving technology.

    What you'll do

    • Analyze data from real-world and simulated autonomous vehicle experiments to evaluate system performance.
    • Develop and refine quantitative metrics (both rule-based and ML-driven) to assess driving behavior, safety, and passenger comfort.
    • Apply statistical inference and hypothesis testing to validate the sensitivity and reliability of metrics.
    • Collaborate with autonomy software, simulation, and safety teams to prioritize improvements based on data-driven insights.
    • Build scalable data pipelines to automate metric computation and reporting.
    • Review driving logs and participate in test rides to ground analyses in real-world performance.

    What you'll need

    • 2+ years of experience in data science, applied statistics, or metrics development.
    • Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis.
    • Strong background in statistical methods (e.g., A/B testing, confidence intervals, regression).
    • Experience designing metrics to evaluate complex systems (e.g., robotics, autonomous systems, or large-scale software).
    • Ability to communicate technical findings to cross-functional stakeholders.

    Nice to have

    • Experience with machine learning (e.g., model evaluation, feature engineering).
    • Familiarity with big data tools (Spark, Hadoop, MapReduce).
    • Knowledge of traffic regulations or automotive safety standards (e.g., NHTSA).

    Data Analytics Engineer

    AvrideНа сервисе с: 03.10.26 15:30↑ Вакансия с автоподнятием
    Зарплата не указанаСШАAustinУдалёнка

    About the Team

Here at Avride, we're building the future with self-driving vehicles and delivery robots. As you can imagine, this creates a massive amount of data, and we need someone to help us connect the dots. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team and have a real, tangible impact on our technology and our success.

    About the Role

We’re looking for a Data Analytics Engineer who is skilled in both data engineering and data analysis. Your main goal will be to take the messy, raw data coming from our vehicles, APIs, and databases, and transform it into clean, reliable datasets that everyone from our engineers to our CEO can actually use. You'll be responsible for building the data pipelines that make this happen, and the dashboards that bring the insights to life.

    What You'll Do

    • You'll tame our raw data streams, building the ETL pipelines that pull information from all corners of the company into our data warehouse.
    • You'll work with some truly unique datasets—everything from vehicle sensor telemetry and logistics data to the results of our internal system tests.
    • You'll write the smart, efficient SQL queries needed to shape our data and prepare it for analysis.
    • You'll create and manage the Grafana dashboards that our teams rely on to track performance and spot issues.
    • You'll work closely with other teams to figure out what data they need, and then you'll deliver it.
    • You'll also get to experiment with our internal AI and LLM-based tools to find new ways to analyze data and automate insights.

    What You'll Need

    • Strong, practical experience with Python and its data libraries (like Pandas, Polars, etc.).
    • Expert-level SQL. You should be very comfortable with complex joins, window functions, and query optimization.
    • A solid background in building and maintaining ETL pipelines using modern tools.
    • Hands-on experience with a BI tool like Grafana, Tableau, or Looker.
    • Familiarity with workflow orchestrators like Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect.
    • A good high-level understanding of how Large Language Models (LLMs) work and an interest in applying them to data problems.
    • A strong sense of ownership and a passion for making sure the data is right.

    Nice to Have

    • You've worked with ClickHouse or other modern analytical databases (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
    • You have experience with vehicle, sensor, or logistics data.
    • You've worked in the autonomous vehicle or robotics industry before.
