We’re now looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to help us run complex cross-team technical programs, raise execution quality and improve planning, delivery predictability, and escalation discipline for complex work.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the most complex cross-team technical programs in your primary domain.
• Make sure complex work across the domain is planned, coordinated, and executed to a consistently high standard.
• Surface risks, blockers, and capacity issues early, and drive mitigation or escalation when local coordination is not enough.
• Serve as the senior PMO-side escalation point when complex delivery work in the domain gets stuck.
• Keep program status accurate by verifying execution rather than only collecting updates.
• Work with product, engineering, quality, and service teams to define goals, scope, milestones, dependencies, and key decisions.
• Build workable program plans and coordination cadences, and clarify resourcing needs with the teams involved.
• Coach TPMs and other part-time program leads across the domain and, where the setup includes full-time TPMs, manage them directly.
• Partner closely with product, engineering, quality, and service teams without taking over their decision-making authority.
• Typical programs may include sunsetting a feature or product, rolling out a major feature, driving a large technical refactoring effort, or coordinating the response to a major customer or partner escalation that becomes complex cross-team work.
• You’ll work primarily within one domain, such as one of our IDEs, a major functional area in an IntelliJ-based product, or another area with heavy cross-department dependencies, while also contributing to cross-domain priorities as part of the PMO team when needed.

• A proven track record of leading complex software programs or other cross-team initiatives from start to finish.
• The ability to influence without direct authority, challenge assumptions constructively, and work effectively across product, engineering, quality, and other functions.
• Strong negotiation, facilitation, and escalation judgment.
• The ability to manage multiple parallel initiatives effectively, prioritize well, and keep execution plans tied to reality.
• Experience coaching other program or project managers and improving execution quality beyond your own work.
• Enough technical depth to sanity-check feasibility claims, dependency chains, and delivery risk in a technical environment.
• A technical background or experience working closely with software development teams.
• At least 5 years of program or project management experience in the tech industry.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• A strong understanding of how complex software programs are structured, planned, and driven through delivery; formal PM training or certification is a plus.
• Experience with IntelliJ IDEA, PyCharm, JetBrains tools, or other developer-focused products would be a plus.

ThinkRail is an innovative project within JetBrains' Innovation Hub. Its aim is to develop a declarative programming language tailored to AI-spec-driven development. Thinkrail (GitHub, Blog, Website) is now open source and in alpha, and we’re entering the next stage of the product’s development: initial market penetration. We’re focused on bringing it into real-world projects and turning it into a robust, production-ready system. To help us get there, we’re looking for an Entrepreneur in Residence to join the team. You’d be joining at an early stage, with plenty of opportunity to influence the product as it continues to evolve.

About the role

We are looking for an Entrepreneur in Residence/Product Lead to work alongside the technical founder and own the product strategy for Thinkrail.

This is not a traditional product management role. Your focus will be on deeply understanding real developer workflows: where specs, architecture, and code break down, what causes friction, and what problems are actually worth solving. You will translate these insights into concrete product requirements and priorities.

In this role, you will:

• Own the product strategy: Define the direction, validate key hypotheses, and decide what to build first.
• Run continuous discovery: Talk to developers and customers to understand real workflows, pain points, and opportunities.
• Define the initial scope: Identify the ICP, core use cases, and priorities for zero-to-one development.
• Shape GTM: Help define positioning, messaging, launch, and go-to-market strategy.
• Track the ecosystem: Stay close to competitors, adjacent tools, AI developments, and market trends
• Work closely with engineering: Keep a small team focused, aligned, and moving quickly in a highly ambiguous environment

We will be happy to have you on our team if you have:

• 8+ years of product management experience with end-to-end ownership of strategy, discovery, and delivery
• Startup experience is a must, ideally in a small team, with a strong track record of building and shipping zero-to-one
• Experience with developer tools or AI products is required
• High autonomy, speed, and comfort making decisions with limited information
• Strong technical fluency and the ability to work closely with engineers. Coding experience is a plus
• Founder, co-founder, C-level, or similar experience is a strong advantage
• Experience with GTM, marketing, launches, developer advocacy, or public speaking is also a plus

Ищем технического менеджера, которому предстоит решить нетривиальную задачу: построить целостную модель потребления GPU и выстроить прозрачный процесс capacity-планирования.

Аналитика и юнит-экономика

Вам предстоит связать метрики утилизации с экономикой: считать стоимость запроса и генерации, анализировать паттерны потребления и разрабатывать ROI-дашборды для топ-менеджмента. Для работы с сырыми данными, проверки гипотез и поиска узких мест нужно будет самостоятельно писать скрипты (Python, SQL). Мы приветствуем использование AI-ассистентов для решения этих задач.

Capacity Planning и автоматизация

Вы будете строить предиктивные модели потребности в GPU с учётом органического роста трафика и запуска новых фич, а также автоматизировать процессы финансового прогнозирования, чтобы полностью уйти от ручного распределения квот.

Координация и архитектура

Нужно будет выстроить прозрачный процесс приоритизации выдачи карт совместно с командой инфраструктуры Яндекса. Вы будете консультировать продуктовые команды по выбору оптимальных платформ и моделей видеокарт, управлять кросс-командными проектами оптимизации.

* Работали с большими объёмами данных: знание SQL — обязательно, владение Python — желательно (или готовы быстро выучить язык с помощью AI)
* Умеете находить паттерны и строить модели (будь то финансовые модели, архитектура системы или прогнозирование нагрузки)
* Выстраивали процессы: знаете, как взять хаос (или legacy) и превратить его в работающую, предсказуемую систему (например, занимались рефакторингом кода, выстраивали процессы в роли тимлида или запускали новые бизнес-процессы)
* Ориентированы на результат: не ждёте инструкций, а находите проблемы и решаете их, используя все доступные инструменты
