The project is focused on modernizing a construction management platform that connects on-site teams with management and business stakeholders. • Developing backend services and APIs using C# / .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.
• Reverse-engineer functionality from the existing production platform.
• Migrating backend functionality to the new microservices-based architecture.
• Writing secure, reliable and maintainable production code.
• Investigating and debugging issues in existing and newly developed services.
• Reviewing existing code, identify technical gaps and propose implementation approaches.
• Documenting findings, current behavior and technical decisions.
• Collaborating with Engineering Managers, Product Managers and other engineers.
• Supporting application-level troubleshooting by reviewing logs and identifying root causes.

• Commercial software development experience for 5+ years.
• Strong C# and .NET Core / ASP.NET Core experience.
• Strong experience building backend APIs and services.
• Enterprise software / enterprise IT systems experience.
• Experience with complex production codebases.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving and code-analysis skills.
• Understanding of secure and reliable enterprise development practices.
• Ability to work independently and investigate unfamiliar systems.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate+ and above.

The customer is a public-sector organization responsible for advancing digital innovation and modernizing services across multiple domains. It supports strategic initiatives in emerging technologies, collaborates with industry and research partners, and develops long-term technology frameworks for improving operational efficiency and service accessibility. The project is focused on supporting multiple digital transformation initiatives in the UAE, with a current focus on a case management platform for end-to-end handling of citizen requests. It includes discovery, prototyping, and delivery of digital solutions aimed at improving social services, public engagement, and administrative efficiency.

• Designing and developing backend services and REST APIs for the case management platform using C# / ASP.NET Core.
• Implementing case management logic: case lifecycle, routing and assignment rules, statuses, SLAs, and notifications.
• Implementing integrations with the client's internal systems and third-party services.
• Designing and optimizing database structures and queries (Entity Framework Core, SQL).
• Ensuring code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to coding standards.
• Collaborating with the Business Analyst, Solution Architect, frontend and QA engineers to deliver features end-to-end.
• Participating in sprint planning, estimation, and daily team ceremonies.
• Supporting releases, troubleshooting and resolving production issues.
• Maintaining technical documentation for developed components.

• Commercial experience in backend development with C# / .NET (ASP.NET Core, Web API) for 5+ years.
• Strong knowledge of Entity Framework Core and relational databases (MS SQL Server / PostgreSQL).
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and common design patterns.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and unit testing frameworks.
• Ability to work in an Agile team and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience working for a UAE-based company.
