About TaxDome
At
TaxDome, we're building the #1 practice management platform for accounting firms in the US and globally. Founded in 2017, we've grown into a
400+ fully remote team across 40+ countries, serving tens of thousands of businesses worldwide with millions of end clients.
How we work
You'll be part of a
globally distributed team built on trust, ownership, and self-management.
We focus on
outcomes over activity — prioritizing clear ownership, pragmatic decision-making, and accountability for results over rigid processes. Collaboration is central to how we operate: we communicate openly, involve the right people early, and continuously improve how we build products and teams together.
About this role
We're looking for an
HR Ops Specialist to join our
HR Ops team, reporting to the
HR Ops Lead. Our HR Ops function is the backbone that keeps the employee lifecycle running cleanly at scale — you'll own day-to-day systems administration, data integrity, and reporting, while building toward designing automations independently. This is a strong seat for someone who wants to grow into a systems- and automation-focused HR career rather than a traditional generalist track.
It's a fully remote role, we are hiring for Latam and EMEA reagion.
What you'll be responsible for
HRIS & data integrity
- Maintain accurate employee data across our HRIS as the single source of truth (new hires, changes, terminations, org structure)
- Run regular data audits and fix discrepancies before they become downstream problems
- Support HRIS configuration changes (fields, workflows, approval chains) alongside the HR Ops Lead
Process & automation
- Execute and maintain existing HR automations (onboarding/offboarding workflows, approval chains, integrations between HRIS, payroll, and IT provisioning)
- Document processes clearly so they're repeatable and auditable
- Flag manual, repetitive work as a candidate for automation, and help build simple fixes (Google Apps Script, Zapier/Make, or similar)
Reporting & analytics
- Build and maintain recurring reports and dashboards (headcount, turnover, DEI, time-to-hire, comp ratios) from existing templates and logic
- Pull ad hoc data requests for People leadership and business stakeholders accurately and on time
- Support the HR Ops Lead in preparing data for exec-level reporting
Employee experience & day-to-day ops
- Keep the employee handbook and related policy documentation current as processes and policies evolve
- Coordinate small recurring culture and ops requests — teammate gifts, packages, and deliveries — end to end
- Pitch in on travel logistics and documentation from time to time, as needed
- Handle other day-to-day HR Ops requests as they come in, prioritizing and routing what can't be resolved directly
AI-enabled ops
- Use AI tools (e.g., Claude) to speed up documentation, first-pass data cleaning, and report drafting
- Contribute ideas for where AI can remove manual steps from HR processes
What you bring
Must-have
- Some hands-on experience in HR Operations, People Ops, HRIS administration, or a highly analytical operations role (HR experience preferred but not required if the analytical/systems chops are strong)
- Advanced comfort in spreadsheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas that go beyond SUM)
- Experience with at least one HRIS platform, or a fast learner with systems generally
- High attention to detail — this role is the quality control layer for employee data
- Clear written communication; you'll be documenting processes others rely on
- Exposure to scripting or no-code automation (Google Apps Script, Zapier, Make, Airtable automations)
- AI fluency at a Functional level: you use AI tools confidently for role-relevant tasks and check outputs critically
Nice-to-have
- Experience working in a remote-first, distributed org
- English fluency
