Location: Remote during probation period, then relocation to Europe

We are looking for a Senior/Lead Elixir Backend Engineer to architect and scale the core banking engine and payment infrastructure for an embedded finance startup serving the UK and EU markets.

Responsibilities:

• Design high-performance APIs.
• Build high-throughput transaction processing systems.
• Integrate with major payment providers.
• Establish technical standards for a growing engineering team.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of backend experience in fintech or banking.
• Deep expertise in Elixir and PostgreSQL.
• Proven track record of shipping scalable card fintech products in card fintech startup environments.
