Longevity Opportunity Vision Enjoy the game!
Job Purpose

The Integration Manager is Xsolla's front-line technical partner for game studios — a hybrid role blending pre-sales engineering, technical support, and customer success. You'll work directly with new and existing game partners to get Xsolla's products, tools, and APIs working inside their games, from the first technical conversation through go-live and beyond. You'll lead client-facing meetings and demos, translate business needs into technical requirements, troubleshoot integration issues hands-on (logs, API calls, JSON payloads, webhook events), and act as the connective tissue between the client, Business Development, Customer Success, and Engineering.

Responsibilities

Client-Facing & Pre-Sales

  • Lead and confidently run client meetings, calls, and technical demos independently, without needing a BD or CS lead to carry the conversation

  • Act as the primary technical point of contact during pre-sales and onboarding, scoping integration requirements and setting realistic expectations

  • Present technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders (engineers, producers, executives)

  • Technical Integration & Troubleshooting

    • Guide partners through API integration, including authentication, request/response structures, JSON payloads, and webhook configuration and delivery

    • Diagnose issues using data dumps, technical logs, and API traces; distinguish integration errors from platform bugs

    • Write and interpret basic scripts or API calls (e.g., via Postman, curl) to reproduce and isolate client-reported issues

    • Document issues concisely and completely enough for engineering to act on without back-and-forth

    • Know when to resolve an issue directly versus escalate to Engineering, Product, or Support, and manage that handoff cleanly

    • Cross-Functional Communication

      • Serve as the communication hub between Client, Business Development, Customer Success, and Development teams, ensuring nothing gets lost in translation between technical and commercial priorities

      • Provide clear, well-organized status updates to internal stakeholders and clients throughout the integration lifecycle

      • Maintain accurate documentation in Jira, Confluence, and related tools

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in a related field

  • 3+ years of experience in technical integration, solutions engineering, or a client-facing technical role

  • Demonstrated ability to lead client meetings and presentations independently — this is not a support-only or backend role

  • Working knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and webhooks; able to read API documentation, interpret payloads, and troubleshoot integration failures independently

  • Comfortable using tools like Postman (or equivalent) to test and debug API calls

  • Near-native fluency in both Korean and English, written and verbal; able to confidently lead client presentations and meetings and write professional business emails in either language without support (daily cross-team communication is in English)

  • Proven customer service or client relationship experience

  • Comfortable working with high autonomy, shifting priorities, and a significant workload

  • Strong attention to detail and time management

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience in the gaming industry, payments, or fintech

  • Experience with Confluence, Jira, and G Suite

  • Prior experience at a foreign or international company, or working across time zones with global teams

  • Genuine interest in games (as a player) and the gaming industry

The duties and responsibilities of this position may evolve over time to support the organization's goals and individual growth. This job description is intended to outline the general nature and level of work being performed and is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, and qualifications required. ABOUT YOU

You are a technical product manager who owns what a model optimises for, not just the roadmap around it. You have real depth in recommendation and ranking systems, and you will own the recommendation engine behind the Xsolla Advertising Products: the ranking that decides which offers millions of players see, and in what order.

You hold the bar high for how decisions get made. You can read a readout and say plainly what it does and does not support. You connect model performance to revenue without overclaiming, and you bring a low-ego, people-first approach to work that spans ML, analytics, ads operations, and commercial teams.

If you are excited about using ML to build building the next generation of advertising, rewards and loyalty programs for mobile apps and games we want to hear from you.

ABOUT US

Xsolla is a global commerce company with robust tools and services to help developers solve the inherent challenges of the video game industry. From indie to AAA, companies partner with Xsolla to help them fund, distribute, market, and monetize their games. Grounded in the belief in the future of video games, Xsolla is resolute in the mission to bring opportunities together, and continually make new resources available to creators. Headquartered and incorporated in Los Angeles, California, Xsolla operates as the merchant of record and has helped over 1,500+ game developers to reach more players and grow their businesses around the world. With more paths to profits and ways to win, developers have all the things needed to enjoy the game.

For more information, visit xsolla.com.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the recommendation engine as a product: ranking, relevance, and the model roadmap. Ranking quality is the product.

  • Set the objective the ranker optimises for, the constraints it works inside, and the guardrails and kill conditions that bound it. The target is eCPM today; what comes next is your call.

  • Own the metric definitions the whole team measures against, and settle the definitional questions that change the answer: gross against publisher-side RPU, app-load against impression-user denominators, mean of daily values against window totals.

  • Collaborate with on ML frameworks, experiment design, hold-outs, including pre-registered decision rules, power calculations, sample-ratio-mismatch checks, A/A validation, multiplicity correction, and named rollback triggers.

  • Collaborate with DS on readouts to evaluate model performace and readouts to business stakeholders readout: what the model did, what it cost, and what happens next.

  • Contribute the ranking perspective to the wider ads roadmap, including the seams where pricing, identity, and event telemetry meet ranking.
  • Qualifications & Skills:

  • 6+ years in product management, with 3+ years owning a recommendation, ranking, personalization, or relevance system in production.

  • Deep understanding of experiment design and inference, including minimum detectable effect, statistical power, sample ratio mismatch, A/A testing, multiple-comparison correction, and pre-registration. You can tell when a readout will not support the claim being made from it, and you say so.

  • Working knowledge of the modelling itself: classification and regression, probability calibration, predicted conversion rate, expected-value objectives, and how the choice of objective changes model behavior.

  • Hands-on experience with ML and data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Spark, Airflow, dbt, MLFlow, Vertex AI, and feature stores.

  • Proven record of moving model changes into production traffic through a controlled experiment process, rather than shipping on a dashboard reading.

  • Knowledge of performance advertising economics and ad tech ecosystems, including eCPM, RPU, bid multipliers, campaign hierarchies, and attribution models.

  • SQL you write yourself, and enough comfort reading application code to verify a claim instead of taking it on trust.

  • Excellent written communication and stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences. Specs, decision records, and readouts are the output of this role, and other teams act on them without you in the room.

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.

  • Offerwall, rewarded advertising, loyalty and rewards programs and/or mobile app monetization experience is a plus.

  • Experience with a two-stage ranking system, where an external service supplies the base order and local logic adjusts it, is a plus.

  • Pricing, yield management, or marketplace experience alongside ranking is a plus.

  • Benefits:

We are passionate about fostering a supportive environment for our team, so we prioritize the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our employees and their families through a comprehensive Benefits Program. This includes 100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision plans, unlimited Flexible Time Off, and a personalized career roadmap for each employee. Together, we’re not just building a business; we’re cultivating a community that values creativity, collaboration, and the transformative power of play.

    Senior Technical Product Manager, Ads

    ABOUT YOU

You are a technical product manager with deep expertise in data and identity platforms, and you will own the layer that decides what the advertising business knows about a player. Xsolla processes game commerce transactions for over 1,500 developers. That data is the structural advantage our advertising business has over the ad networks we compete with, and very little of it currently reaches the ad stack in a shape anyone can use.

The ideal candidate has built a platform other teams consume, not a series of one-off pipelines. You hold the bar high for the unglamorous things that decide whether a data platform works: a validated event taxonomy, a dictionary people actually use, contracts with stated freshness and completeness guarantees, and instrumentation that tells you when a guarantee broke. You are fluent in what ATT, GDPR, and CCPA changed about what you can collect and match.

If you are excited about building the data and identity foundation underneath a growing global advertising business, and you want to define what a game commerce platform can offer advertisers that nobody else can, we would love to hear from you.

    ABOUT US

Xsolla is a global commerce company with robust tools and services to help developers solve the inherent challenges of the video game industry. RESPONSIBILITIES

Own the identity and data platform for advertising: what an advertiser needs from Xsolla's transaction data, defined as a product other teams build against.

Define the interface between the customer data platform and the ads stack, and productize Xsolla ID and Xsolla’s Identity layer for targeting and audience segmentation.

Own the canonical event taxonomy and schema across web and app surfaces. The offerwall backend recognises five funnel events today, app load fires server-side, impression fires client-side, and everything between them goes unmeasured. You define the full funnel, the server-side validation that keeps it honest, and the dictionary that stops three teams inventing three names for the same thing.

Own attribution and signal collection, including MMP integration and historical backfill, SDK-side signal capture, and device and identity resolution.

Own reporting APIs and Dashboard APIs that help Xsolla’s advertising clients build automated, scalable integrations with the Xsolla Ads Platform

Specify the real-time event path for impressions, clicks, and conversions, so that attribution and the ranking models get the events they need when they need them.

Write and hold the data contracts. What lands where, in what shape, with what freshness and completeness guarantees, for ML, ads operations, and customer-facing reporting. Then instrument whether each guarantee held.

Ensure the data infrastructure stays privacy-compliant under GDPR, CCPA, and ATT, including SKAdNetwork, consent management, and identity frameworks.

Work with data engineering, backend, and SDK engineering to sequence the build against a spec they can implement without you in the room.

    QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

6+ years in product management, with 3+ years owning a data, identity, or measurement platform where the output was an interface other teams built against rather than a dashboard.

Deep understanding of ad tech ecosystems, including campaign hierarchies, attribution models such as multi-touch and view-through, and audience segmentation and personalization frameworks.

MMP postback semantics across AppsFlyer, Adjust, and Singular. You know why the same install can be counted three different ways, and which of those ways you should be paying for.

Event taxonomy and schema governance experience. You have written a dictionary, enforced it against teams who would rather not, and dealt with the years of unvalidated data that predate it.

Hands-on experience with data platforms and pipeline tooling such as Kafka, Snowflake, BigQuery, Spark, Airflow, and dbt, sufficient to specify where a client-server event boundary should sit and negotiate that with SDK and web engineering.

Experience with privacy-preserving measurement, including SKAdNetwork, GAID and IDFA deprecation, consent systems, and what signal loss means for targeting and attribution.

Contract discipline. You write the guarantee down, instrument whether it held, and raise it when it does not.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences, in an organization where the teams you depend on report elsewhere.

Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.

Familiarity with IAB, MRC, or OMSDK measurement and viewability standards is a plus.

Customer data platform implementation experience, either buying one or building one, is a plus.

oRTB or exchange integration experience is a plus. We do not have oRTB yet, and it is on the roadmap.

Games or game commerce background is a plus, as is SQL and enough Go or a similar language to read a pipeline and understand what it is really doing.
