We are looking for a Senior iOS Engineer for an exciting opportunity with a client in the fintech industry, working on innovative solutions to enhance customer experiences and streamline financial services. This role offers the chance to contribute to cutting-edge technology projects in a fast-paced, impactful environment.

As a Senior iOS Engineer, you will develop innovative iOS applications. A key contributor to mobile design and architecture to deliver outstanding apps. We expect engineers to have the desire of curiosity, passion, and a driven, enthusiastic mentality, to be proficient in algorithms, problem-solving, and crafting scalable, resilient, and crash-free iOS apps. Effective communication is an attribute we care deeply about, as an engineer you and your team will move in a fast-paced engineering environment to achieve outstanding results.

Duties and responsibilities

• Architect, design, build, and deliver world-class iOS applications

• Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and other colleagues to seek exciting and results-oriented problems for delivering value

• Write clear, maintainable code that will scale

• Learn, grow, and mentor other engineers through code reviews and pair programming to accelerate their technical mastery

• Challenge team processes, looking for ways to improve them

• Assist in the development and drive of good practices within the team, making an impact on the whole team

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

• 5+ years of experience in software development

• 4+ years of working experience in iOS development

• Architect, design, build, and deliver world-class iOS applications

• Write clear, maintainable code that will scale

• Challenge team processes, looking for ways to improve them

• Experience in customizing the standard iOS`s UI (navigation controls, transitions, lists, tables)

• Consistent record of design and implementation of high-quality, crash-free iOS applications

• Strong experience with the iOS SDK

• A good understanding of design patterns and SOLID principles

• T-shaped engineer, but major in Swift

• Practical experience in using RESTful services

• Know how to write readable, idiomatic, and maintainable Swift

• Experience implementing sophisticated iOS applications

• Experience with agile methodologies

• Excellent communication skills in English: both written and verbal

About the role:
You’ll own the iOS side of the new Mobile Experience team, so features ship on iOS and Android in parallel.

What you’ll do:

• Develop and maintain mobile application features, integrations, and user flows within Engineering

• Work with product, design, and engineering teams to define, design, and ship new features

• Build high-quality iOS applications with Swift, SwiftUI, and Swift Concurrency

What you’ll own:

• Own the iOS side of the new Mobile Experience team, so features ship on iOS and Android in parallel

• Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform, from concept to release

• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability

• Diagnose defects, fix bugs, and improve application performance and reliability across supported devices

• Support releases and update technical documentation as needed

• Work with UI and UX designers so every app is presentable and works as intended, and discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies that make development more efficient

• Написание и поддержка unit-тестов для бизнес-логики и ключевых компонентов приложения.

• Участие в code review

• Взаимодействие с backend-разработчиками, дизайнерами, QA и продуктовой командой.

• Участие в подготовке релизов, устранение замечаний по результатам тестирования и сопровождение выпущенной функциональности.

Требования:

• Коммерческий опыт разработки iOS-приложений от 2х лет.

• Уверенное владение Swift: типы данных, структуры и классы, протоколы, замыкания, generics и обработка ошибок.

• Практический опыт работы с UIKit и Auto Layout, понимание жизненного цикла приложения и экранов.

• Понимание управления памятью в iOS: ARC, сильные и слабые ссылки, причины возникновения retain cycle и способы их устранения.

• Опыт асинхронного программирования с использованием GCD и/или Swift Concurrency (async/await), понимание работы главного потока.

• Опыт интеграции REST API: HTTP, JSON, Codable, URLSession или сетевые библиотеки.

• Понимание принципов ООП и SOLID, практический опыт работы с архитектурой MVC, MVVM или аналогичной.

• Опыт локального хранения данных, понимание назначения UserDefaults и Keychain.

• Уверенная работа с Git: создание веток, pull requests, разрешение конфликтов.

• Навыки отладки в Xcode, анализа crash-логов и поиска проблем с памятью и производительностью.

• Базовый практический опыт написания unit-тестов.

• Умение разбираться в существующем коде, самостоятельно выполнять задачи, уточнять требования и своевременно сообщать о сложностях.

• Умение читать техническую документацию на английском языке.

• Владение русским и узбекским языками.

• Опыт разработки интерфейсов на SwiftUI.

• Опыт работы с Combine или RxSwift.

• Опыт использования Core Data или других локальных баз данных.

• Опыт работы с push-уведомлениями, deep links и Universal Links.
