About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Staff Software Engineer to join the Veeam Data Cloud (VDC) engineering team. You will be working with a global team to build next-generation data protection services focused on ensuring data resilience for our customers. This is a unique opportunity to work on greenfield projects, building features from the ground up that will be deployed and utilised worldwide
What You’ll Do
- Defines and drives technical vision for multiple areas within their team. Leads cross-team deliverables.
- Design and develop highly reliable and scalable SaaS microservices, integrated with a variety of cloud-based managed services utilizing Golang
- Participate in technical design discussions, reviewing code, and providing feedback to other engineers. Solves hardest, most ambiguous team wide challenges. Develops frameworks for others to follow.
- Drives team deliverables in a timely and predictable fashion. Sets execution standards across the team. Ensure your code is high-quality, thoroughly tested, and secure
- Facilitates effective collaboration and organizes across the engineering organization, drives discussions toward a resolution or action. Helps others across organization understand their team’s technology.
- Participate in on-call rotation for product operations.
What You’ll Bring
- 10+ years of experience in the software development industry
- Demonstrated expertise designing, building, and implementing SaaS or large-scale cloud services on Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Expertise with a modern programming language like Go, C#, Java, Scala, or Rust
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or other container and orchestration tools
- Experience designing and implementing event-driven architectures
- Expertise in developing, testing, and debugging production-quality, scalable, concurrent systems
- A strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals (data structures and algorithms)
- Passion for code quality, extensibility, coding standards, testing, and automation

Роль подойдёт тем, кому нравится темп стартапа, кто ценит свободу в решениях, готов отвечать за результат и спокойно относится к тому, что продукт быстро меняется.
Задачи
- Проектировать архитектуру продукта на Go и развивать её
- Строить прямые интеграции со спортивными часами и фитнес-платформами
- Разрабатывать AI-чат внутри продукта и интеграции с LLM: приложения для ChatGPT, MCP, tool calling
- Запускать монетизацию: подписки, платежи, онбординг
- Отвечать за инфраструктуру, деплой и стабильную работу сервиса (DevOps, IaC, AWS или другое облако)
- Разрабатывать мобильные приложения и самостоятельно выбирать для них стек
- Вместе с основателем быстро проверять продуктовые гипотезы
Требования
- Опыт бэкенд-разработки на Go от 5 лет
- Опыт работы в стартапах и запуска продуктов с нуля
- Умение вести бэкенд целиком: архитектура, инфраструктура, деплой
- Готовность быстро освоить LLM-экосистему, если опыта с ней пока немного
- Самостоятельность: умеете предлагать решения, аргументировать свою позицию и отвечать за результат
Будет плюсом
- Опыт интеграции платёжных систем (Stripe, PayPal и аналоги) и сервисов управления подписками (RevenueCat и аналоги)
- Опыт работы с LLM-провайдерами (OpenAI, OpenRouter и аналоги), разработки MCP-серверов и tool calling
- Опыт интеграций с носимыми устройствами или фитнес-платформами (Apple Health, Google Health Connect и аналоги)
- Собственные pet-проекты, особенно мобильные приложения
- Желание делать продукт целиком, активно используя AI-инструменты
- Вы сами бегаете, катаетесь на велосипеде или плаваете и пользуетесь Strava или Garmin Connect
