Andersen is hiring a System/Business Analyst for a project optimizing IT business analysis processes, improving requirements management, and enhancing digital banking solution delivery.

Our customer is a well-established financial institution offering a broad range of banking products and services to individual and corporate clients. Its core activities include retail and corporate banking, lending, deposits, payment processing, money transfers, and digital banking solutions. The company operates an extensive network of branches and service offices, serving a large and diversified customer base. It also supports businesses across various economic sectors and maintains relationships with international financial institutions.

The project is focused on optimizing and improving IT Business Analysis (ITBA) processes within a banking organization. It aims to streamline requirements management, enhance collaboration between business and IT teams, standardize analysis practices, and improve the efficiency and quality of IT solution delivery.

• Analyzing current ITBA processes, identifying areas for improvement, and supporting the optimization of business and system processes within the bank.
• Gathering and analyzing business and system requirements for loyalty program features, including bonus accrual, redemption, and partner integrations.
• Reading and describing REST APIs using Swagger and Postman, documenting request/response structures and error handling.
• Mapping data between frontend (mobile and web applications), backend services, and core banking systems for loyalty transactions.
• Describing interactions between frontend and backend components, ensuring seamless data flow for bonus operations across iOS and Android platforms.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams (developers, testers, project managers) to ensure business requirements are fully understood and implemented.
• Analyzing complex business processes and systems within the banking loyalty domain, identifying improvements and integration points.
• Documenting integration requirements for partner systems and banking products, ensuring alignment with loyalty program logic.
• Communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business needs into clear specifications and technical documentation.

• Experience in business analysis and requirements gathering for 4+ years.
• Experience in the FinTech domain.
• Experience analyzing, optimizing, and improving IT Business Analysis (ITBA) processes within a banking environment.
• Experience in both systems analysis and business analysis.
• Experience with Swagger, Postman.
• Experience reading and describing APIs.
• Experience describing interactions between Frontend and Backend.
• Experience in data mapping.
• Experience in PostgreSQL (schema design, query analysis).
• Familiarity with banking products and services.
• Experience in sequence diagram creation for process and system flow visualization.
• Experience creating C4 diagrams (component/container level) to model system architecture.
• Experience in mobile application development, including knowledge of mobile platforms (iOS, Android) and mobile development methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze complex business processes and systems.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and project managers, to ensure that business requirements are met.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

• MongoDB knowledge.

Our expectations:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner/Product Manager with a focus on web and mobile projects in the Fintech or Banking;
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a business and/or systems analyst on IT projects;
• Experience in the Discovery Phase of product development, including defining MVPs and strategic roadmaps;
• Strong understanding of payment flows, banking integrations, and emerging fintech products;
• Knowledge of Payment systems (SEPA, SWIFT, etc.);
• Experience in facilitating effective interaction between the project team and the customer;
• Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, or similar for documentation and collaboration;
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
• English B2+.

Nice to have:

• Practical experience in working with enterprise-class systems such as CRM, ERP, e-commerce platforms or banking solutions;
• Regulatory frameworks, including PCI-DSS, SOC2, and relevant banking compliance requirements;
• Experience with banking regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices;
• Knowledge of deposit account management, loan origination/servicing, and payment processing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Discovery Phase to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap;
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including business owners and development teams, to gather and prioritize requirements;
• Modeling business processes using BPMN notation;
• Create functional documentation and requirements specifications;
• Preparing and validating user stories and acceptance criteria;
• Ensure product alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations;
• Continuously explore and implement innovative solutions in Fintech & Banking;
• Oversee the project development lifecycle.
