Senior Growth Product Manager

travelbusinessclassНа сервисе с: 07.10.26 18:27
Зарплата не указанаМолдоваКишинёвГибрид
Senior Product ManagerWe are looking for a Senior Growth Product Manager to build and own our Loyalty & Retention product across our travel brands.

The main goal of this role is to increase Customer Lifetime Value by improving repeat purchases, retention and referrals.

A major part of this role is deep product discovery. We are not looking for someone who will simply take an existing idea and deliver it. We need a Product Manager who can first understand the problem, customers, behavior and business context - and only then define what should be built.

What you will do

  • Lead end-to-end product discovery
  • Conduct customer interviews and qualitative research
  • Work with quantitative data, customer behavior, cohorts and segmentation
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and other customer-facing teams
  • Identify key drivers and barriers to repeat purchases
  • Validate customer needs and business opportunities before defining the solution
  • Build and prioritize product hypotheses
  • Develop and validate loyalty concepts and mechanics
  • Build financial models and evaluate unit economics
  • Define MVP, product roadmap and PRDs
  • Lead implementation together with Design, Engineering, Analytics, Sales and Marketing
  • Run A/B tests and other product experiments
  • Measure product impact on retention, LTV and business performance
  • Present and defend product strategy and business cases to senior stakeholders
  • Assess the existing loyalty functionality, customer journeys and available data to understand what works, what does not and where the biggest opportunities lie.
  • Personally plan and conduct customer interviews and customer development research.
  • Carefully synthesize interview findings and quantitative data, challenge assumptions and investigate conflicting signals before recommending a solution.
  • Independently calculate the unit economics of proposed loyalty mechanics, including their costs and expected impact on repeat purchases and Customer Lifetime Value.

We already have existing loyalty-related functionality, but it should be treated as a starting point rather than a constraint.

You will have the freedom to rethink the concept completely if discovery and data show that another approach can deliver better results.

What we are looking for

  • 4+ years of Product Management / Growth Product Management experience
  • Strong product discovery skills
  • Strong experience with customer interviews and qualitative research
  • Ability to combine qualitative insights with quantitative data
  • Experience with retention, loyalty, CRM, lifecycle or engagement products
  • Strong understanding of LTV, retention, cohorts and unit economics
  • Experience with hypothesis validation and A/B testing
  • Ability to build business cases and work with financial models
  • Strong ownership from discovery to launch and optimization
  • Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to independently conduct customer interviews, analyze findings in depth and translate them into product decisions.
  • Ability to independently build and assess unit economics for proposed product initiatives.
  • English - B2 or higher

You do not need to be a hands-on data analyst. You will have access to analytics and technical resources, but you should know what data you need, what questions to ask and how to turn research and data into product decisions.

Experience in travel, fintech, banking, e-commerce, marketplaces, subscriptions or telecom will be a strong advantage.

What success looks like

You deeply understand our customers and their behavior, identify the most important retention opportunities, validate them through research and data, build a strong loyalty strategy, launch the product and demonstrate measurable improvement in customer retention and long-term customer value.

What we offer

  • An opportunity to build and shape a loyalty product with room to grow and bring your own ideas to life.
  • Work with the US market and interesting, non-routine product challenges.
  • A competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.
  • A hybrid schedule: four days in the office and one day working remotely per week.

About Yousician

Yousician builds apps that teach the world to play music: Yousician (guitar, piano, bass, ukulele, singing) and GuitarTuna.

Why this role exists

The Yousician App is our flagship product at an inflection point. You will take over an established product and an experienced, capable team, and you'll be expected to form your own evidence-based view of what's working and what isn't, then act on it. This is a high-autonomy mandate, reporting directly to the CPO, with real authority over scope, priorities, process, and how the team operates. We're looking for someone energized by taking over something mid-flight and changing its trajectory, not by inheriting a roadmap and keeping it warm.

What you will own

  • Diagnosis before strategy. In your first 90 days, build your own picture of the product, the funnel, the experiment record, and the team's ways of working (from data and firsthand observation, not the previous plan) and present the CPO a clear assessment with decisions attached.
  • The operating system of the team. Turn strategy into staffed, dated, owned commitments. Every initiative has a DRI, a decision date, a success metric, and explicit kill criteria. What isn't resourced gets cut from the plan visibly, not left to drift.
  • Ruthless prioritization. Fewer, bigger bets tied to measurable in-quarter outcomes. You will be judged on what you decide to stop as much as on what you ship.
  • An experimentation program with decision discipline. Every material bet has a measurement vehicle before it's built; every readout produces a decision (roll out, iterate, or kill) on a date, not "when we get to it."
  • KPIs that connect to money. Set and track success metrics that ladder to conversion, retention, and revenue, and be honest about which proxy metrics don't.
  • The team's bar. Raise expectations on ownership and follow-through; coach people to meet them; make the hard calls on process, scope, and team composition when coaching isn't enough.
  • The seams. Manage crisp boundaries and joint commitments with Monetization, CRM, Content, and Engineering so cross-team work has one accountable owner, not two spectators.
  • Advocate for the user in every decision: accessibility, usability, and joy remain at the heart of the product.

What you have done

  • 5+ years in product management for consumer subscription apps at scale, including at least once taking over an existing product and team (not only founding or 0-to-1 work) and demonstrably changing its trajectory, with numbers you can walk us through.
  • Made hard calls and owned them: killed live projects, re-scoped quarters mid-flight, restructured how a team works, and can articulate what it cost and what it returned.
  • Built or rebuilt an experimentation practice: hypothesis quality, statistical literacy, and a track record of acting on negative results quickly.
  • Strong analytical skills: comfortable pulling your own data, auditing a funnel, and challenging a dashboard before trusting it.
  • Deep understanding of user-centric design, usability, and growth strategy for app platforms.

Strong signals

  • Music: you play, at any level. You understand why learning an instrument is hard and worth it.
  • Experience in turnaround, transformation, or post-reorg situations (as a PM, interim lead, or operator).
  • Subscription and monetization strategy for direct-to-consumer products.
  • SEO/ASO and organic growth for consumer apps.
  • Excellent communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders; fluency in English.

What this role is not

  • Not a caretaker role. You inherit a plan; you are expected to challenge it, not execute it on faith.
  • Not a consensus-first role: you'll gather input widely and decide alone, including decisions that won't be popular.
  • Not purely strategic: you set vision and run the weekly machinery that makes it real.
  • Not siloed: daily collaboration across engineering, design, data science, and marketing.

Practicalities

  • Compensation: competitive, based on experience and location.
  • Start: as soon as possible.

Group Product Manager, Acceptance Rates

checkout_comНа сервисе с: 07.10.26 18:18
Зарплата не указанаВеликобританияНидерландыLondonГибрид

Company Description

We’re Checkout.com. You might not know our name, but companies like eBay, Spotify, Klarna, Uber, and Sony do, because we’re behind many of the digital experiences you use every day.

We are where the world checks out, enabling over 10 billion transactions yearly for more than one billion global shoppers.

Whether you want to book a holiday, order food, renew a subscription, or check out online, there’s a good chance our tech powers the payments behind the scenes. Our platform helps the most ambitious businesses deliver effortless digital experiences, at scale.

If you want to do career-defining work, you’ve come to the right place. We move fast, think globally, and believe great teams are built by hiring exceptional people with conviction, curiosity, and the desire to make an impact.

With 20 offices across six continents and London as our HQ, we’re shaping the future of fintech – and we’re just getting started.

The opportunity

Checkout.com helps businesses thrive in the digital economy by making payments work better. Our Payment Performance pillar is building the intelligence that helps merchants get more value from every payment.

We are looking for a Group Product Manager to take Intelligent Acceptance to its next order of magnitude—increasing the scale, breadth and merchant value of the optimizations we make. Your immediate goal will be to improve merchant profit by increasing acceptance and reducing payment costs, using fraud risk to decide when a payment should—or should not—be optimized. Longer term, you will help merchants set their own objectives and constraints, with our products intelligently choosing the best action across the payment lifecycle.

You will shape a suite of AI- and ML-powered products that make smarter optimization decisions across the payment lifecycle—from acceptance and routing to recovery and cost. The suite will continue to evolve, and part of your role will be deciding which products and capabilities should become part of it.

This is a portfolio leadership role. You will lead several Product Managers, work closely with Engineering, Data Science, Analytics and Design, and spend time with some of the world’s most sophisticated merchants to understand their goals, prove value and shape what we build next. We are looking for a systems thinker who can turn competing objectives and fragmented capabilities into a clear strategy that teams can act on.

What you’ll do

Set the direction

  • Create and communicate a multi-year vision for merchant payment optimization.

  • Bring the portfolio together around a shared strategy, roadmap and set of product principles.

  • Decide how we balance acceptance, payment cost and fraud risk at payment and merchant level.

  • Identify the next optimization opportunities based on merchant needs, measurable value and strategic fit.

Prove and grow the value

  • Define how we measure incremental merchant value across the portfolio.

  • Build experimentation and causal measurement into how we develop, launch and improve products.

  • Own the portfolio’s product economics, including investment cases, adoption strategy and input into packaging and pricing.

  • Partner with Commercial, Finance, Product Marketing and Customer Success to make the value clear to merchants and bring new capabilities to market.

Shape Product and Data Science together

  • Co-own the Data Science roadmap and outcome metrics with the Data Science leader.

  • Ensure Product chooses the right problems and trade-offs while Data Science owns methods, model quality and scientific rigor.

  • Direct investment toward data and model capabilities that create measurable merchant impact.

  • Set a high bar for explainability, monitoring and safe rollout in high-volume payment environments.

Lead the team and portfolio

  • Lead, coach and develop Product Managers across the optimization suite.

  • Give teams clear ownership, goals and decision rights while building a strong shared purpose.

  • Create an effective operating model with Engineering, Data Science, Analytics and Design.

  • Align teams and senior stakeholders around evidence-based priorities, investment choices and trade-offs.

What success looks like

In your first 12–18 months, you will have:

  • United the portfolio behind one vision, metric framework and roadmap.

  • Delivered measurable improvements in acceptance and payment cost, with clear fraud guardrails.

  • Established a stronger joint operating model across Product, Engineering and Data Science.

  • Built a practical path toward merchant-configurable optimization.

  • Developed a high-performing team of Product Managers with clear accountability across the suite.

What we’re looking for

Essential

  • Deep experience in payment optimization, with strong knowledge of acquiring, authorization performance, routing and payment economics.

  • A track record of setting strategy and delivering outcomes across multiple related products or teams.

  • Proven success leading and developing Product Managers.

  • The ability to bring clarity and structure to complex, ambiguous problem spaces.

  • Strong quantitative judgment and experience using experimentation, measurement and financial analysis to make decisions.

  • Credibility with Engineering and Data Science teams working on decisioning or optimization products.

  • Commercial judgment and the ability to connect technical capabilities to merchant value, adoption and sustainable business outcomes.

  • Clear, persuasive communication with merchants, teams and senior executives.

We care more about the scope of the problems you have solved and the outcomes you have delivered than a fixed number of years in a particular title.

Valuable, but not required

  • Experience building ML-driven decisioning, routing or personalization products at scale.

  • Knowledge of fraud scoring, risk controls and the trade-offs between fraud exposure and payment performance.

  • Experience with causal inference, multi-armed bandits or other adaptive optimization approaches.

  • Familiarity with card-network economics, interchange, scheme fees, retries and stored-credential payments.

  • Experience shaping packaging, pricing or value-based commercial models for technical products.

How we work

This role is based in Amsterdam or London and follows Checkout.com’s hybrid working model. You will report to the Senior Director, Product and work across Product, Technology, Data and Commercial within the Payment Performance pillar.

Additional Information

Bring all of you to work

We create the conditions for high performers to thrive, through real ownership, fewer blockers, and work that makes a difference from day one.

Here, you’ll move fast, take on meaningful challenges, and be recognized for the impact you deliver. It’s a place where ambition gets met with opportunity, and where your growth is in your hands.

We work as one team, and we back each other to succeed. So whatever your background or identity, if you’re ready to grow and make a difference, you’ll be right at home here.

It’s important we set you up for success and make our process as accessible as possible. So let us know in your application, or tell your recruiter directly, if you need anything to make your experience or working environment more comfortable.
