Overview

Join the Microsoft Word team to shape the next generation of productivity experiences used by hundreds of millions of people worldwide. Based at the Microsoft Development Center Serbia, our team creates the foundational experiences that help people work with documents confidently with the goal to make everyday document workflows seamless, trustworthy, and consistent across platforms, browsers, and devices.

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to help shape the future of document creation, editing, review, and collaboration. A good candidate brings proven product management experience working with enterprise customers, company-wide stakeholders, and multidisciplinary technical teams across time zones. They identify customer pain points, translate them into product strategy and plans, bring clarity to ambiguous problem spaces, and apply a user-experience perspective to product decisions.

Microsoft's mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees, we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day, we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with customers and partners to understand their industries, workflows, and needs through direct engagement, research, community feedback, support signals, and product telemetry. Validate Word's current and emerging solutions, support adoption, and translate insights into future product improvements.
  • Set the product direction for assigned Word experiences, aligning customer value with Microsoft's broader goals. Define objectives, key results, and success metrics, and use qualitative and quantitative evidence to guide tradeoffs from concept through launch and iteration.
  • Partner closely with engineering, design, research, data science, and other product teams to deliver features while balancing customer value, quality, scope, risk and readiness across endpoints.
  • Develop working fluency in complex technical systems and architecture to make informed product decisions, unblock execution, and translate engineering complexity into clear customer value.
  • Drive awareness and adoption by partnering with marketing, field, support, and community teams to develop launch and engagement plans and communicate product value to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Contribute to an inclusive, collaborative team culture by sharing knowledge, supporting peers, and participating actively in the Word product community in Serbia and globally.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND proven experience in product/service/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams, including engineering and design, to deliver complex products with multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
  • Experience using customer research, product data, and business context to identify and prioritize opportunities, define product strategy, and translate decisions into clear requirements for design and engineering.
  • Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English, including the ability to explain complex issues, decisions, and solutions clearly.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and demonstrated experience in product/service/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience building productivity, collaboration, authoring, enterprise or platform products.
  • Experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
  • Technical background or experience partnering with engineering on complex software architecture, services, client applications, or developer platforms, with the ability to assess technical tradeoffs and translate them into product decisions.

Senior Growth Product Manager

travelbusinessclassНа сервисе с: 07.10.26 18:27
Зарплата не указанаМолдоваКишинёвГибрид
Senior Product ManagerWe are looking for a Senior Growth Product Manager to build and own our Loyalty & Retention product across our travel brands.

The main goal of this role is to increase Customer Lifetime Value by improving repeat purchases, retention and referrals.

A major part of this role is deep product discovery. We are not looking for someone who will simply take an existing idea and deliver it. We need a Product Manager who can first understand the problem, customers, behavior and business context - and only then define what should be built.

What you will do

  • Lead end-to-end product discovery
  • Conduct customer interviews and qualitative research
  • Work with quantitative data, customer behavior, cohorts and segmentation
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and other customer-facing teams
  • Identify key drivers and barriers to repeat purchases
  • Validate customer needs and business opportunities before defining the solution
  • Build and prioritize product hypotheses
  • Develop and validate loyalty concepts and mechanics
  • Build financial models and evaluate unit economics
  • Define MVP, product roadmap and PRDs
  • Lead implementation together with Design, Engineering, Analytics, Sales and Marketing
  • Run A/B tests and other product experiments
  • Measure product impact on retention, LTV and business performance
  • Present and defend product strategy and business cases to senior stakeholders
  • Assess the existing loyalty functionality, customer journeys and available data to understand what works, what does not and where the biggest opportunities lie.
  • Personally plan and conduct customer interviews and customer development research.
  • Carefully synthesize interview findings and quantitative data, challenge assumptions and investigate conflicting signals before recommending a solution.
  • Independently calculate the unit economics of proposed loyalty mechanics, including their costs and expected impact on repeat purchases and Customer Lifetime Value.

We already have existing loyalty-related functionality, but it should be treated as a starting point rather than a constraint.

You will have the freedom to rethink the concept completely if discovery and data show that another approach can deliver better results.

What we are looking for

  • 4+ years of Product Management / Growth Product Management experience
  • Strong product discovery skills
  • Strong experience with customer interviews and qualitative research
  • Ability to combine qualitative insights with quantitative data
  • Experience with retention, loyalty, CRM, lifecycle or engagement products
  • Strong understanding of LTV, retention, cohorts and unit economics
  • Experience with hypothesis validation and A/B testing
  • Ability to build business cases and work with financial models
  • Strong ownership from discovery to launch and optimization
  • Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to independently conduct customer interviews, analyze findings in depth and translate them into product decisions.
  • Ability to independently build and assess unit economics for proposed product initiatives.
  • English - B2 or higher

You do not need to be a hands-on data analyst. You will have access to analytics and technical resources, but you should know what data you need, what questions to ask and how to turn research and data into product decisions.

Experience in travel, fintech, banking, e-commerce, marketplaces, subscriptions or telecom will be a strong advantage.

What success looks like

You deeply understand our customers and their behavior, identify the most important retention opportunities, validate them through research and data, build a strong loyalty strategy, launch the product and demonstrate measurable improvement in customer retention and long-term customer value.

What we offer

  • An opportunity to build and shape a loyalty product with room to grow and bring your own ideas to life.
  • Work with the US market and interesting, non-routine product challenges.
  • A competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.
  • A hybrid schedule: four days in the office and one day working remotely per week.
