We are looking for a Risk Data Governance Lead to own and transform our risk data infrastructure into an LLM-agent-ready state.

This is a unique role at the intersection of data engineering, data governance, and risk analytics — you will ensure that both humans and AI agents can reliably consume, query, and act on our risk data.

You will lead a small team of analytics engineers and serve as an agent of change across departments — pushing for data quality, enforcing standards, and building the foundation that enables the entire risk function to scale. As we expand to new countries, you will design the group-wide data governance framework from the ground up.

Challenges that await you:

• Lead risk data infrastructure to LLM-agent-ready state. Own the full stack of data quality across 40+ analytical tables in Snowflake, spanning 4 product lines and multiple provisioning frameworks (MxGAAP, IFRS, internal). Define and enforce SLAs, build observability for datamarts across all DMBOK quality dimensions (freshness, completeness, accuracy, consistency, timeliness, validity, uniqueness), and drive metadata and lineage completeness. Choose and maintain the right tooling (Git-based, wiki, or hybrid) for documenting schemas, business concepts, query patterns, and pitfalls
• Design and evolve the LLM context layer. We already maintain a structured knowledge base covering risk data tables, business concept definitions, and query patterns — your job is to scale and formalize this into a production-grade context layer that AI agents can autonomously consume. You will shape how both humans and machines reliably query, interpret, and act on the same data infrastructure
• Be an agent of change across departments. Lead by example in interactions with DWH, Finance, and other teams. Create data quality requirements, push for standards adoption, and translate risk analytics needs into concrete data platform requirements. You represent risk’s data interests externally
• Lead a team of 2–3 analytics engineers. Manage their work, grow their skills, and ensure delivery on datamart development, ETL pipelines, and data quality initiatives. Build a culture of ownership and technical excellence within the team
• Build a group-wide risk data governance framework. As Plata expands into new countries, design and implement data governance standards that scale across geographies. Define reusable patterns for risk data infrastructure that can be rolled out to new markets. The scope of both the framework and the team will grow with the company

What makes you a great fit:

• 5+ years in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data governance roles
• Experience leading or mentoring a small technical team (2–5 people)
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with Snowflake or comparable cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Redshift)
• Experience with dbt or similar transformation frameworks — we use dbt in production and you will govern the transformation layer
• Track record of driving data quality improvements in a cross-functional environment
• Experience building or maintaining data documentation, metadata catalogs, or knowledge bases
• Hands-on experience with LLM/AI agents and a clear understanding of what makes data infrastructure agent-consumable — you will build this into the foundation of the role
• Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment with ambiguity — you define the standards, not just follow them
• B2 or higher English level for effective communication with an international team

       Nice to have

• Experience in risk management, banking, or fintech data
• Familiarity with Airflow or similar orchestration tools
• Experience with regulatory data requirements (CNBV, IFRS 9, Basel)
• Russian language skills (many team members are Russian-speaking)
• Experience building data governance frameworks across multiple countries or business units

We're looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager who will own the Kotlin-in-IDE experience end to end. This is a deeply hands-on role. You will experiment with Kotlin in IntelliJ based IDEs every day, maintain reference projects that double as regression canaries and demo showcases, build prototypes with AI coding agents, analyze users feedback and talk to users. You won't manage from slides — you'll manage from the editor.

In this role, you will:

• Own the product vision for the Kotlin plugin: fast, correct, and trustworthy IDE support that evolves with the language.
• Use IntelliJ IDEA with the Kotlin plugin daily — dogfooding features, catching regressions, and validating the developer experience first-hand.
• Maintain and develop reference Kotlin projects that serve as showcases for new features, material for conference demos, and a living test bed for DX quality.
• Build prototypes and proofs-of-concept using AI coding agents to explore and validate new capabilities.
• Own and continuously adapt the plugin roadmap across short-term release goals, mid-term initiatives, and longer-term Kotlin ecosystem related projects.
• Align plugin planning with Kotlin compiler releases, IntelliJ IDEA release trains, and Android Studio constraints.
• Make explicit trade-offs and say "no" when cost, risk, or maintenance burden outweighs user value.
• Define problem statements, success criteria, and scope for features — then collaborate with engineers to validate and refine.
• Represent core Kotlin personas — JVM backend developers, library authors, Android and Multiplatform teams — and prioritize recurring pain points: false positives, slow analysis, unreliable refactorings, onboarding pain points,  AI agents integrations.
• Run a consistent pipeline of monthly user interviews to ground decisions in real workflows.
• Coordinate with Kotlin language team, Developer Advocates, framework partners, Marketing, and other JetBrains teams.
• Create external visibility through what's-new posts, Kotlin User Groups meetup talks, and feature previews at events like KotlinConf, Spring I/O, Devoxx and others.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has professional software development experience in Java or Kotlin (this is a must).
• Has 5+ years of experience in technical product management or a comparable role in a complex technical domain.
• Is a hands-on product person who lives in the product, not someone who operates through reports and meetings alone.
• Has experience with AI coding tools and agents, and curiosity about how they reshape developer workflows.
• Can define clear roadmaps with problem statements, success criteria, and explicit trade-offs.
• Has strong communication skills in English — written and spoken — for both technical peers and executive audiences.
• Is ready to represent the product externally at conferences, in blog posts, and in community interactions.
• Takes developer experience personally — not as an abstract metric, but as something they feel in their own daily workflow.

Задачи

• Создавать пайплайны обработки данных, использовать доступные алгоритмы и писать собственные 
  
• Анализировать текущую модель данных и проектировать новые компоненты
  
• Участвовать в построении архитектуры и схем взаимодействий
  
• Вести документацию и поддерживать её в актуальном состоянии
  
• Выступать в роли играющего тренера для команды, проводить ревью задач, растить компетенции сотрудников команды
  

Требования

• Опыт работы аналитиком данных, дата-инженером, ML/DS инженером в BigTech или крупной IT-компании от 3 лет
  
• Уверенное владение базовыми инструментами: SQL, Python + базовые библиотеки, любой BI-инструмент
  
• Системное мышление, умение быстро разбираться в новых системах, процессах и понятно объяснить другим
  
• Навыки применения математической статистики, теории вероятностей и базового матанализа для решения задач бизнеса через данные
  
• Способность к критическому мышлению, умение найти суть проблемы и предложить системное решение
  
• Проактивность, любовь к данным и желание строить крутые дата-решения
  
• Опыт управления командой из 5–10 человек
