Product & Design Intern (Tabby Imagine)

tabbyНа сервисе с: 03.10.26 18:02
Зарплата не указанаСаудовская АравияRiyadhОфис

About the role

There is no CV screen for this one. The only way in is Tabby Imagine, an open design and product challenge for Saudi Arabia. Three places are awarded, first, second and third, and each winner takes this role.

  • Come up with a product idea for Tabby: something new, or a change to what is already there.
  • Send it in whatever form shows it best: a written page, a Figma file, a clickable prototype, working code, or a short video. One of them is enough, and there is no required format. Everything reaches us as a link. The entry form requires one and there is no file upload, so a written entry is sent as a link to the written page. Every link has to open for anyone holding it. Our design system is public at brand.tabby.ai.
  • Entries are read blind. Your name is hidden while the panel scores.
  • The strongest entrants present their work live at the final, in front of an audience. That session replaces the interview for this role. Naming you publicly as a winner needs your separate consent, and refusing it does not disqualify you.

Entries open on 16 September and close on 30 September. Register at tabby.sa/en-SA/engineering/imagine.

We are hiring on evidence of how you think about a product. Your challenge entry is that evidence, and it is the only thing the panel reads.

Responsibilities

Interns work on real product decisions under senior review.

Product work end to end
  • Take a real problem in the Tabby app from question to shipped change
  • Run the research. Talk to users, read the data, and work out what is actually broken
  • Size the problem honestly and say what you would not do

Design
  • Design the solution in Figma: flows, screens, states, edge cases
  • Take the work through critique with the product and design team and rework it
  • Hand off to engineers and stay with the build through release

After launch
  • Measure what happened and say plainly whether it worked
  • Bring the result back to the team, including when the answer is no

Working across teams
  • Work with engineers, analysts and product managers on the same problem
  • Present your work, defend the decisions, and change your mind when the evidence says so
  • Write clearly enough that someone who was not in the room can act on it

Qualifications

Required

  • 18 or over
  • Evidence that you can make a product decision, not just draw a screen. Your challenge entry is that evidence
  • Comfortable in Figma: components, prototyping, handing work over to engineers
  • Clear written Arabic or English. Both are judged the same way and no translation is needed
  • Willingness to have your work argued with, and to argue back with evidence

Strong plus

  • Any shipped work: a personal app, a university project that reached real users, freelance product work
  • Basic comfort with data: reading a funnel, understanding what a metric is actually saying
  • Front-end familiarity, enough to know what is cheap and what is expensive to build
  • Interest in fintech, payments, or how people in Saudi actually handle money

What we do not expect

  • Professional product or design experience
  • A degree in design
  • A polished portfolio. Work in progress counts
  • Certifications of any kind

Benefits

Eligibility

  • Anyone living in Saudi Arabia, 18 or over, citizens and residents alike, entering as individuals
  • There are no team entries
  • Current Tabby employees and contractors, their immediate families, and anyone who left Tabby in the last twelve months cannot enter
  • We expect a full-time level of engagement. The internship is not part-time. Performance, ownership and involvement are expected at a full-time level

Format

  • Six months, starting after the final in mid-October 2026
  • Funded and paid in full by Tabby, SAR 3,000 a month
  • Full integration into a product or design team at Tabby, matched to the work you did in the challenge
  • Distributed team across multiple countries. If you are based in Riyadh, the working mode is office-first
  • A path to a junior role on the team afterwards. That is our intent and what we aim for, not a guarantee: it depends on how the internship goes
  • Three places are open, first, second and third, and each one is this role
  • Subject to a separate contract and the required eligibility checks

Dates

  • 16 September, entries open
  • 30 September, entries close
  • 15 October, the final, where you present live. It replaces the interview

This internship is intentionally demanding and designed for people aiming for fast professional growth in product and design.

Head of UX/Design

taxdomeНа сервисе с: 03.10.26 18:55
Зарплата не указанаНе указана странаЛокация не указанаУдалёнка

About TaxDome

At TaxDome, we’re building the #1 practice management platform for accounting firms in the US and globally. Founded in 2017, we’ve grown into a 400+ fully remote team across 40+ countries, serving tens of thousands of businesses worldwide with millions of end clients.

How we work

You’ll be part of a globally distributed team built on trust, ownership, and self-management.

We focus on outcomes over activity — prioritizing clear ownership, pragmatic decision-making, and accountability for results over rigid processes. Collaboration is central to how we operate: we communicate openly, involve the right people early, and continuously improve how we build products and teams together.

About this role

We're in active transformation of how design works here. We're hiring a Head of UX/Design to lead it.

Our current model is a working hypothesis. We place UX Architects within specific product domains to manage our design system via Git and use AI prototyping as a core skill. By providing product teams with a robust design foundation and agentic systems, routine tasks are handled automatically. This allows our designers to move away from creating individual deliverables and instead take full accountability for broad UX outcomes.

The Head of UX/Design will not just execute a plan but will actively shape the operating model, recruit a senior team, and determine which strategies scale. This role is for a leader who wants to drive a design transformation powered by AI and has clear convictions about its future. If your strategy for increasing impact relates only on growing headcount, most likely we are not made for each other.

It’s a fully remote role, we are hiring across European timezones.

What you’ll be responsible for

  • The design system as a product. The design specifications live in Git and drive an automated AI prototyping pipeline. You lead the system's roadmap, set high standards for new patterns, and scale them across the platform.

  • The UX Architects team and their growth. In our model, there are no designers — only UX Architects. You hire, develop, and retain a team of senior UX Architects embedded in product domains. Setting growth paths, calibrating quality through frequent feedback, and unblocking staff-level ICs. The trajectory of your team and the work they ship is your primary measure of success.

  • Brand & Communication. You oversee the brand through the Communication Lead, keeping product and brand visuals unified.

  • UX Quality Control. You monitor UX health using data, audits, and tests. You set the quality bar and ensure architects prioritize long-term usability over quick shortcuts.

  • Strategic Collaboration. You're part of the VP of Product's leadership team, alongside Heads of Product, Analytics, and Research. You also work with Marketing, Engineering, and the CPO to align on and apply design principles across the company.

What you bring

  • Minimum 6 years on complex B2B or platform products. You've operated at scale and understand how design decisions compound over a product's lifecycle.

  • Track record of building or significantly evolving a design system that became load-bearing infrastructure. You've established core principles, maintained consistency across surfaces, and held the UX quality bar throughout the product lifecycle. We want to hear what you built, how teams adopted it, and what it changed about the org.

  • Experience overseeing both product and brand/marketing design under one design language. You don't need to have been a brand designer yourself, but you've led that intersection.

  • Deep working knowledge of AI-native design workflows. You've built or led code-based prototypes with Claude Code, Cursor, v0, or equivalent, and can walk us through the trade-offs. You stay current and can coach senior designers in these workflows.

  • A cross-functional view of AI, not just personal use. You think about how to set up AI at the function level and across the seams with engineering and product — for example, making designer↔engineering or designer↔PM collaboration faster and better.

  • Experience growing senior ICs. Concrete examples of designers you've levelled up, hard feedback you've given, and growth conversations that changed someone's trajectory.

  • Strong product and systems thinking: you ask "why are we building this and how does it fit the platform?" before "what should it look like?"

What we offer

At TaxDome, we aim to create an environment where people can do their best work and grow alongside the company.

  • Competitive compensation, paid in USD, transparently shared before the first interview

  • Performance-based internal incentive plan

  • Fully remote work with flexible hours

  • 30 paid days off annually, plus sick days as needed

  • Health & well-being support

  • Learning & development budget to support your professional growth

  • English lessons reimbursement

  • Co-working space reimbursement

  • Company-provided equipment (conditions may vary depending on the role)

  • A high level of autonomy and ownership in your work

  • The opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-growing global SaaS company

  • A collaborative, international team with a strong product mindset

Upon successful completion of the interview process and acceptance of the offer to join, an employment verification check will be conducted as part of pre-boarding — confirming job titles and dates of engagement with 2 of your previous employers. This is a required step for all new joiners.

If you’re excited about this opportunity and believe you could make an impact at TaxDome, we’d love to hear from you.

By applying, you acknowledge that your personal data will be processed in accordance with TaxDome’s Privacy Notice.

You’ll thrive here if you have

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer working on web-based products.

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work, particularly for web products; mobile and desktop experience is a plus.

  • Strong user-centered and product thinking, with the ability to connect user needs with business goals.

  • Experience working in cross-functional product teams with Product Managers and Engineers.

  • English at B1/B2 level or higher, sufficient for day-to-day collaboration and presenting design decisions.

It will be a plus

  • Experience working on complex, high-traffic B2C products.

  • Experience with product analytics, experimentation, and data-informed design.

  • Experience contributing to design systems and maintaining design documentation.
