Andersen is hiring a Junior System/Business Analyst for a project developing an integration layer and delivering scalable solutions for seamless data exchange and process automation.

The project is focused on designing and implementing an integration layer that connects multiple business systems and digital services. It includes building integrations for insurance and customer service workflows, enabling seamless data exchange, process automation, and alignment with the overall enterprise integration strategy.

• Capturing, analyzing, and documenting business, user, and functional requirements.
• Translating business needs into clear, implementable technical specifications.
• Creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed documentation.
• Modelling business processes (BPMN), design solutions, and build prototypes.
• Supporting backlog refinement with detailed requirement elaboration.
• Facilitating communication between stakeholders and development teams.
• Owning product vision, goals, and success metrics.
• Defining and managing roadmap, backlog, and priorities.
• Making scope and trade-off decisions (value vs risks vs constraints).
• Ensuring backlog readiness and alignment with business goals.
• Actively engaging stakeholders and align expectations.
• Leading demos, reviews, and validating delivered increments (DoD).
• Monitoring KPIs, customer feedback, and product performance.
• Managing risks, dependencies, and escalations.
• Ensuring compliance (legal, data privacy, security).
• Driving Agile/Lean practices and continuous improvement.

• Experience as a System Analyst for 6+ months.
• Experience participating in product teams or product-focused educational projects.
• Experience with UML, BPMN, Jira, Confluence, and Draw.io for requirements management and process modeling.
• Basic SQL skills and experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases through educational projects or internships.
• Experience with REST APIs, SOAP, SFTP, OpenAPI/Swagger, and Postman.
• Understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and gRPC.
• Basic understanding of application logging and log search/troubleshooting.
• Experience with Git and understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Strong analytical thinking and systems understanding.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting mindset.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

• Project Management background.
• Experience with Camunda or similar workflow/process automation platforms.

Job Responsibilities

Requirements Elicitation & Specification 

• Gather and validate requirements with Product, Engineering, Design, and QA; turn business goals into testable artifacts (user stories, epics, acceptance criteria, business rules). 

• Write clear tasks for developers and QA with scenarios, parameters, constraints, and checks.

System Analysis & Architecture

• Understand APIs, data structures, integrations, and microservice architecture well enough to speak with engineers on their level.

• Take part in architectural analysis and detail technical tasks to reduce the load on architects and developers. 

Delivery Support

• Maintain requirements throughout delivery: manage changes, document decisions and assumptions.

• Support developers and QA, and validate shipped features against requirements.

• Act as the main bridge between Product and Engineering on scope, risks, and dependencies.

Knowledge Base & AI

• Maintain a structured, searchable knowledge base (product behavior, business logic, APIs, data, admin pages); close knowledge gaps and update docs right after releases. 

• Structure documentation for a vector knowledge base for LLMs and refine it where the AI can't answer.

• Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) in daily work, verifying output and owning its correctness.

You’ll thrive here if you have:

• 5+ years working as a Business or System Analyst in product development, closely collaborating with cross-functional delivery teams.

• The ability to understand complex existing product and architectural logic quickly, identify system risks, and translate them into usable documentation for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Demonstrated ability to structure ambiguous problems, define business rules, and produce detailed, clear, and testable requirements.

• Exceptional, structured writing skills with the ability to create documentation that is concise, consistent, and easy to navigate over time.

• Practical, hands-on experience using modern AI/LLM tools in day-to-day analysis work (beyond basic prompting) to increase output, as well as an understanding of how to structure data for LLM vector databases.

• The ability to influence without authority, facilitate discussions, and drive decisions in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

• Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher in English, as documentation and discussions are conducted in English.

• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new industries and subject areas.
• Experience with BPMN and UML.
• Level of English - from Upper-Intermediate+ and above.
