Full Stack Developer (Java/Angular)

Andersen is hiring a Full Stack Developer (Java/Angular) for a project building scalable enterprise solutions and leveraging AI-powered tools to enhance software development.

The customer is a global technology company delivering enterprise digital platforms for automating complex operational, financial, and compliance workflows. Its solutions handle high data volumes, integrate with multiple external systems, and support mission-critical processes for international businesses, with a strong focus on scalability, reliability, and automation.

The project is focused on developing and maintaining scalable, production-grade full-stack solutions using Java and modern front-end technologies. It incorporates AI-powered development tools across the software development lifecycle to improve engineering efficiency, while supporting architectural evolution and close collaboration across product, data, and engineering teams.

Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance Java-based backend services and APIs and front-end applications as well.
• Delivering across the full SDLC leveraging AI coding tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, etc.) as a core part of daily workflow.
• Participating in architectural discussions and technology selection.
• Performing code reviews and mentoring junior engineers.
• Collaborating with frontend, data, and product teams to deliver cohesive solutions.
• Contributing to DevOps practices including CI/CD pipeline management and cloud deployments.

​​​​​​​Must-haves:

• Experience in backend software development for 4+ years.
• Strong proficiency in Java 17+, Java Streams, and functional programming.
• Experience with the Spring ecosystem (Core IoC, MVC, Boot, Data/Repositories), JPA, and Hibernate.
• Practical experience with Angular (v2+) or similar modern frontend frameworks, with working knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript and HTML/CSS.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and working with JSON, JSON Schema, and YAML.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, design patterns, and messaging platforms such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
• Hands-on experience with Maven, Tomcat, JUnit, and Mockito.
• Experience integrating with AI/ML-powered services.
• Daily use of AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or equivalent across the SDLC.
• Strong prompt engineering skills and responsible use of AI-generated outputs, including verification, hallucination awareness, and code quality control.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP acceptable), Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker.
• Familiarity with LLM integration patterns: RAG, prompt chaining, or agent frameworks (e.g. LangChain).
• Exposure to Python for data manipulation or ML pipeline interaction.
• Understanding of vector databases or semantic search concepts.
• Strong problem-solving, code review, and engineering standards experience, including API testing with Postman or equivalent.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience contributing to software architecture and technology selection for 3+ years.
• Experience working in cross-functional Agile teams.
• Experience with Swagger/OpenAPI or RAML, SonarQube, and Cucumber.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code using Bicep or Terraform.
