We are looking for a Middle Business Analyst to join our product team on a full-time remote basis.

The specialist will be responsible for bridging the gap between business stakeholders and development teams by gathering, analyzing, and formalizing requirements. The role involves documenting business processes, designing functional specifications, supporting integration analysis, and ensuring clear communication across cross-functional teams in close collaboration with product managers, engineers, and QA.

Key responsibilities:
• Gather, analyze, and formalize business and functional requirements from stakeholders.
• Document business processes using BPMN, UML, and other modeling notations.
• Prepare detailed functional specifications, User Stories, Use Cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Design and maintain project documentation in Confluence and manage tasks in Jira.
• Analyze and describe system integrations, including REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML data formats.
• Write and validate SQL queries for data analysis, reporting, and requirements verification.
• Create and review wireframes, prototypes, and process flows in collaboration with UX/UI teams.
• Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and grooming meetings with stakeholders and development teams.
• Support Scrum/Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and backlog refinement.
• Identify and assess risks, dependencies, and constraints for proposed solutions.
• Validate implemented features against requirements and conduct acceptance testing.
• Analyze existing business processes and propose optimization and automation opportunities.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Maintain traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of internal BA methodologies and standards.

Requirements:
• 3+ years of commercial experience as a Business Analyst in IT projects.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Proficiency in requirements elicitation techniques: interviews, workshops, observation, prototyping.
• Solid experience in business process modeling using BPMN and UML.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence for task and documentation management.
• Understanding of REST and SOAP API principles, JSON/XML data structures.
• Practical SQL skills for data querying, analysis, and validation.
• Experience in writing clear and structured technical and functional documentation.
• Ability to decompose complex business problems into actionable requirements and user stories.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in a distributed environment.
• Experience with prototyping and wireframing tools (Figma, Balsamiq, Lucidchart, or similar).
• Experience in FinTech, Banking, ERP, or e-commerce domains.
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger, or similar).
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
• Familiarity with Confluence macros, Jira workflows, and project configuration.
• Knowledge of SAFe or scaled Agile frameworks. 
• Understanding of integration patterns and enterprise application architecture basics.
• English: B2 or higher (written and spoken).

Nice to have:
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Odoo, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, 1C, or NetSuite).
• Knowledge of payment systems, PSP integrations, billing, or transaction processing.
• Understanding of PCI DSS, KYC, AML, or antifraud processes.
• Experience with automated testing concepts and QA collaboration.
• Business or IT-related certification (IIBA, CBAP, or similar).
