About the Role

As a Principal Product Advisor within the Product Management Alliances team at Veeam, you will help set strategy for our product integration approach across hyperscaler platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP.  Which integrations matter, why, and how they fit into a multi-year architectural vision. You will operate as a recognized technical authority both internally and with partner organizations, and you will raise the bar for the broader Product Advisor team through mentorship and example.

Pay Transparency

Veeam is committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation. For this role, the compensation range below reflects the expected total target compensation (TTC), inclusive of base pay and a competitive performance-based bonus. For roles with a commission plan, the compensation range represents On Target Earnings (OTE), which includes base salary plus variable commission. When determining compensation, Veeam takes into consideration factors such as experience, education, skills, and geographic zone. Offers are typically made below the midpoint of the range.

In addition to compensation, Veeam provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health coverage, retirement plans, and unlimited time off.

About the Role

Veeam is seeking a Solutions Architect / Implementation Consultant to design, deploy, and validate Veeam data protection and data resilience solutions within customer environments. This role bridges the gap between solution design and hands-on delivery: translating customer requirements and pre-sales designs into a detailed implementation plan, and then executing that plan to a successful, production-ready outcome. The role works closely with Project Managers, Sales Engineers, Customer Success Engineers, and Technical Account Managers to ensure Veeam solutions are architected soundly, implemented correctly, and positioned for long-term customer success.

What You’ll Do

  • Design detailed, technically sound Veeam solution architectures based on customer requirements, existing infrastructure, and best practices.
  • Lead the technical implementation and configuration of Veeam products within customer environments, from initial setup through production cutover.
  • Translate high-level pre-sales designs into detailed low-level design (LLD) documentation, including sizing, configuration standards, and architecture diagrams.
  • Validate infrastructure prerequisites and readiness prior to deployment, identifying and resolving gaps or risks before implementation begins.

About the Role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field; advanced degree is a plus.  
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent).  
  • Expertise in data security and governance, including DSPM/DLP; familiarity with AI/ML architectures.
