В команду проекта по развитию и тестированию хранилища данных ищем QA-инженера. В роли предстоит заниматься тестированием DWH, проверкой качества и корректности данных, валидацией преобразований source-to-target, регрессионным тестированием и автоматизацией проверок на Python.

✅ Требования
• Высшее экономическое или математическое образование
• Опыт работы в QA от 1.5 лет, включая тестирование хранилищ данных
• Понимание архитектуры DWH: схемы «звезда», «снежинка», Data Vault
• Знание PL/SQL, Oracle, Python
• Понимание методик тестирования хранилищ данных
• Опыт проверки полноты, согласованности и точности данных
• Опыт валидации преобразований source-to-target
• Опыт регрессионного тестирования
• Навыки автоматизации тестов на Python / PyTest
• Аналитический подход и внимание к деталям при работе с данными
• Умение работать с большими объёмами информации
• Коммуникация с разработчиками и аналитиками

About the Role

The Veeam Quality Assurance team invites you to work on Veeam products with Veeam QA professionals in the Lisbon R&D office.

As a Performance QA Engineer, you will work on large‑scale, real‑world backup and data protection scenarios used by enterprises worldwide. Your work will directly influence the scalability, reliability, and performance of Veeam products running in some of the most demanding environments.

What You'll Do

  • Design and execute performance, load, and scalability testing for major components of Veeam products (from requirement analysis and lab design to test execution and results analysis)
  • Build and maintain realistic enterprise‑grade test environments, including large infrastructures and complex topologies
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and system limits, and work closely with developers, functional QA, and product managers to resolve them
  • Participate in root cause analysis of performance issues reported by Technical Support and customers
  • Own and evolve performance test labs: environment creation, configuration, monitoring, and collaboration with IT teams

What You'll Bring

  • Technical education or a strong, hands‑on passion for systems and performance
  • 1–2 years of experience in performance and/or load testing (or a strong practical background in system performance)
  • Ability to analyze test results and clearly identify bottlenecks, limits, and performance risks
  • Solid knowledge of Windows and/or Linux at an advanced user or system administration level
  • Good understanding of system internals: CPU, memory, storage, networking
  • Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and structured thinking

We are seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) specializing in Data Connectors & High-Scale Ingestion. In this role, you will be the technical authority responsible for designing testing frameworks and benchmarking tools that validate multi-source data integration pipelines processing petabyte-scale throughput across AWS, Azure, and Kubernetes. 

What You’ll Do

  • Design and execute scalable performance, backpressure, and stress-testing harnesses for ingestion connectors (REST, gRPC, CDC, Kafka, RabbitMQ)
  • Build automation suites across AWS (S3, SQS, Kinesis, EKS) and Azure (Event Hubs, Blob, AKS) to test real-world connector data flows under degraded network conditions and extreme concurrency
  • Implement automated fault-injection pipelines (simulating schema drift, network partitions, rate limits, and authentication failures) to guarantee zero-data-loss execution
  • Utilize Kubernetes to dynamically orchestrate transient, high-concurrency test clusters and mock target endpoints at scale

What You’ll Bring

  • 8+ years of software engineering/SDET experience in C++, Java, Go, or Python
  • Deep experience in testing streaming architectures (Kafka, Event Hubs), queueing systems, and API protocols (gRPC, WebSockets, REST)
  • Hands-on proficiency with AWS, Azure, and Kubernetes (Helm, custom controllers, or K8s operators)

We are seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to lead System-Level and Infrastructure Testing locally in our San Jose lab. You will bridge physical/on-prem hardware dependencies with containerized Kubernetes topologies and cloud edge environments, serving as the hands-on technical owner for end-to-end platform stability, hardware/software integration, and deployment verification. 

What You'll Do 

  • Build and maintain end-to-end local test environments in San Jose, mirroring edge-to-cloud topologies, hardware interfaces, and localized system deployments 
  • Architect local Kubernetes clusters (e.g., K3s, Kind, Minikube) and cloud emulator harnesses (AWS LocalStack, Azure Edge) to enable fully offline, system-level validation 
  • Profile OS-level resource usage (CPU, memory leaks, I/O bottlenecks, network latency) and run hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) or local service-level automated suites 
  • Maintain the physical/virtual San Jose lab environment, building automated orchestration tools to reset, patch, and reconfigure test rigs deterministically

  • 8+ years in system-level SDET, platform engineering, or embedded/infrastructure software testing 
  • Advanced programming skills in C++, Python, or Go with strong Linux internals, networking protocols (TCP/IP, sockets), and IPC knowledge
